Can I port an existing landline number to my RingCentral toll-free fax number?

I have a local landline number with Verizon (FIOS) that I use as a dedicated fax line. I would like to port that existing number to my existing toll-free RingCentral fax service, such that I can use both the local number and toll-free number and faxes to either wind up in my RingCentral fax inbox. After this happens, I will be discontinuing the Verizon landline service. Questions:

1. Do I use the same online transfer number feature that is used to transfer RingCentral (i.e., non-fax) numbers?
2. Will both the local transferred number and toll-free number work as described above?
3. Will I be able to tell whether a received fax came from one number or the other?
4. Is there an extra one-time or monthly fee for the transfer?

Thanks!  I tried using the chat option, but it kept saying it was busy, and then I tried calling but the automated voice response system just sent me back to the Web site and the same phone number.

I would say yes on all counts.  Do you have the fax professional plan?  I have RC office and can add a number for $5/month and use it for fax or voice.

JL, your asking for help with the porting of a phone number. That sort of request needs to be addressed to our porting team. However, the porting team does not work on the weekends. So unfortunately, your request will need to wait until this coming Monday after 9:00 AM Mountain time. I'm sorry that you'll need to wait on this.

Thanks, Daniel (and Brandon). How do I contact the porting team?  There is no rush.

No, unfortunately not. We are using 8.0.6.20118. I reported the bug to the development team about 2 weeks ago.
