Desktop App: support answering via Bluetooth headset?

Just curious to see if this is now a thing or if it plans on being available in the future.

Maybe it's just me, but I don't understand what you are asking.  What do you mean by, "remote answering"?

Say for example you have a bluetooth headset that has an "answer call" button on it. Will that work with the desktop app?

I see.  I haven't done it first hand, but I think the answer is yes, with recommended headsets

Just an extra piece of information. There are two Plantronic Bluetooth head sets that work. The Voyager Legacy UC, and the Voyager Focus UC. They must be connected to the computer through the bluetooth USB dongle in order to be recognized by the softphone. If you connect the headset directly to the Bluetooth of the computer, the softphone will not recognize the headset. You must use the USB Bluetooth adapter.

Here is another link that might provide a little more info:  https://support.ringcentral.com/s/article/8546?language=en_US

What about the Voyager Edge UC? Would that integrate the same as the Legacy and Focus?

Hi Bill,   It should be compatible, however we can't specifically recommend it since it hasn't been tested.  Here's a list of all headsets that should work.
