Polycom Call Park and Transfer

On Cisco Phones when a call is place in park or place on hold and then picked up on another extension.  Both the Caller name AND phone number display on the extension.

With polycom phones I'm only seeing the Caller name, the number is not displayed.  Instead I see the blf1230000@ringcentral.com  sip address for the BLF key.  Is there any way to dispaly the callers number.

As I said this worked fine with Cisco phones.

Good morning Matt,

What model Polycom? Do you have other Polycoms and are they doing the same thing?

I've done some preliminary testing and I am unable to recreate the issue. Would you please provide the current set up for the Cisco phones that 'work' and the Polycoms that aren't working. Also, what are the exact steps you use to park calls? To pick up a call on 'Hold', you must be using presence as that is the only option available in our system. I am still testing variant set ups in our lab.

The cisco phones were provisioned and set up automatically by ringcentral.  When a call was placed in parked or placed on hold, another user could use the presence enabled key for either the extension or the park to pick up they call.  When they did that both the calling parties name and phone number were displayed.

The polycom phones are setup and provisioned by ringcentral as well.  Presence is set up on all extensions to monitor both extensions and 6 predefined parks.  When a call is placed on hold or placed into park by pressing either the hold button or the park location key and then picked up by another user, only the calling parties name is displayed, the calling parties number is not displayed.  Instead the blf address of the park or extension the call was holding or parked on is displayed.

To replicate exactly.

1. configure a static park in ringcenteral
2. Turn presence on for both extensions to monitor this static park.
3. When the call comes in press the button configured for the static park.
4. The call is parked and the light blinks for both extensions.
5. On the second extension, pick up the call by hitting the blinking key.
6.  On the screen, the calling party's name is displayed, but instead of the calling parties phone number a string beginning with blf appears.  This string is the blf (presence) address of the park location.
