Google Chrome Extension: not remembering my settings

First of all, praise for updating the Chrome Extension with the ability to make/receive calls right from the browser. There is a small annoyance, however, when I'm mobile and working on my Chromebook/using the extension. Every time my Chromebook goes to sleep or is restarted, (a few times a day), the extension forgets that I want to use the browser as the default "Make my calls with" option. Each time, I have to remember to go into settings, and change back to browser because it has defaulted to ringing out to my ringcentral phone.

It remembers all my other settings, but not this one. Usually, I don't even have to log back in as I have the "remember me" option turned on, but it still changes the setting when the laptop wakes up or gets turned on.

Is this a bug or am I just missing where the default can be changed?

I'm trying to gather some more details around this. I have a Win7 PC and it remembers the "browser" setting when I log back in.  Brandon, can you verify what OS you are using?  Is your's also a Chromebook?

For me, OS X 10.11.4 and Chrome Browser Version 49.0.2623.110 (64-bit)

I honestly haven't tracked it closely, but often notice that even though I switched to 'browser' later in the day or another day it has reverted back to 'phone'.  I'll try to keep an eye on it and see if I find a pattern.

While testing this, I discovered after clearing my browser's cache, that I then had to go in and manually change it back to "browser".   Do either/both of you have your browser set to dump the cache when you close it down?

Jesus, and Brandon,

Sorry for the delay.  I just got confirmation, that the system is suppose to remember the setting.  Our product team was already aware of this and they are already planning a fix.  I just don't have an ETA yet, but will probably be in the next few weeks.
