Any extension to use any number for caller id

My business is an indoor golf training facility that also takes students out to the course to continue their training.  We're called Golf Swing Prescription
The description of what would we would like to see in the future is using any of our extneions on the Ringcentral App allowing it to show any of our registered phone numbers.  For some reason my "Call From" option will only allow me to show 949-554-9926 as my Caller ID when making an outogoing call only if i'm using extension 101.  It would be extremely beneficial if I could use this number when making outgoing calls with any of my other extensions such as 102, 103, 104, 105, and 106.  Right now for whatever reason I do not have this option.  I have talked to Tech Support and it's not an available option for me.  So now my outgoing number for all extensions (aside from the Super Admin x101) has to show a DIFFERENT number which in the long run confuses my customers.  (this also applied to the Ringcentral fr Desktop)

That doesn't sound right to me and it can be fixed.  Possibly your published main number did not get assigned properly in RingCentral as the main number and that could explain it.  I would call support again and explain you need all users to be able send main, published number as caller ID.

To be clear, you should not be able to show *any* number, but you can choose between your main number and your personal number.  *not* other users personal numbers.

From your description it sounds like your main, published number got assigned to 101 instead of as a main number.

What you described is correct because the number ending in 99226 is associated with the use for ext 101, and you have a different main number on the account.  If you want to change the main number on the account, it is possible, but you'll want to call support. This could of course have several implications so you'll want to discuss it on the phone.   However I can understand your need for this, but right now it's not possible due to the way the system is designed, so we'll leave this post as an active feature request so that it's seen my our developers.
