"please set your area code"

Unable to log into the desktop software. Credentials are accepted but now I am stuck on a screen that says;

REGION
"Please set your area code. This will be used for local calling."

I keep putting in my area code, and the local ones near me and it won't accept any of them. I even tried the country code. I am in Canada. Other lines on the system are able to log into their desktop software.

UPDATE: I put in a BS area code from the US as I noticed it would not let me change the country. It accepted it, but still won't let me change the country when I go to settings.

Are you referring to the Country setting on the very 1st login screen?  If so, you'll have to log out, change the menu, then log back in.
