Hot Desking: how to have multiple users log into a phone and be assigned a certain line?

We would like to have more then one user log into a phone and each user have their own line

This is possible, but each user needs to have their own digital line.  Your account manager can help you add this or please see the topic below.

To add to what Mike said, RingCentral also offers Hot Desking. You can have more than one User log into a phone with their Extension and PIN that is set up for Hot Desking.
