Desktop App: courtesy message

The RC for Desktop user guide says this about responding to a call with a courtesy message:

Respond with a Courtesy Message

When you cant take the incoming call right away, you can provide a courtesy response. RingCentral for Desktop has automatic text-to-voice options. You can select a prepared message or type your own custom message, and RingCentral for Desktop will convert it to voice and relay the message to your caller.

To respond with a prepared message:
1. From the Incoming Call screen, click Reply.
2. A popup screen opens with three different messages, such as: Will call you back in...
3. Click the message you want to use, and if needed, complete the message by typing the time limit you want (ex: 5 minutes).
4. Click Send.
RingCentral for Desktop relays the message to your caller.
To respond with a custom message:
1. From the Incoming Call screen, click Reply.
2. A popup screen opens with message options. Click Custom
Message.
3. Type the response you want to send.
4. Click Send. RingCentral for Desktop relays the message to your caller.

My question regards the first step 2, as, "2. A popup screen opens with three different messages, such as: Will call you back in..."

Is there a way to change those prepared "three different messages"?

The first three responses are default, but you can select " Custom Message" and type your own in.

Thank you, but those three choices are not "default."

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DefaultDefault (computer science), a preset setting or value that will be used if no choice is done.

They are instead three pre-prepared responses that can be chosen from.

Again, my question regards the first step 2, as, "2. A popup screen opens with three different messages, such as: Will call you back in..."

Is there a way to change those prepared "three different messages"?

In other words, is there a way to change the contents of those three pre-prepared messages?

Anyone?

These 3 messages are RingCentral's default messages in the Desktop App.  There is no way to edit them.  If you do not wish to use the default options, please use  Custom Message where you can input your own message.  If you wish to be able to edit and customize your own list, please submit a feature request.

Just as you suggested, I submitted a feature request. As a courtesy to those whose first language is not English, like some of my colleagues and family, I submitted it not only in English, but also in Spanish and Chinese.

It was apparently deleted. I did not delete it.
