User Settings: Default Messages is blank and not pulling Recorded User Name

Ring Central does not recognize my name as the default name.  When I reply my greetings, the name part is skipped.  What's up with that?

Kim,

Can you please clarify - Which product are you referencing?  What is not recognizing your name?
Are you talking about the Reply on the Desktop App?

In User Details under Settings in Ring Central.  It asks for your name or you can record your name. Since mine is very simple, I used the default setting.  However, when I go to Messaging and listen to the default recording, when it gets to the place to say the name, Ring Central says nothing.

Duh, never thought to call myself from the outside.  Thanks so much!  "Problem" solved!

It will be blank when you listen to it directly through Messages online.   You will need to call it directly to hear exactly what it says.  But you are correct, it does pull the name for the Recorded User Name.
