Desktop App: Can I use earbuds with mic?

Is it possible to use earbuds with a build in microphone with the desktop app?

You can use earbuds, but I find that the audio is better with a computer headset. I have used iPhone earbuds on my Lenovo laptop without issues. We havefound with Lenovo(IBM) laptops, there is an audio driver that needs to be updated when you use the port replicator to attach another monitor.
