Mobile App: unable to swip to answer on iPhone 6

When answering a call on the mobile app the Swipe does not work either way (right or left)
all that you can do is tap then another screen opens up with a green & red phone at the bottom
when you click on the green phone to answer the call you get to another screen where the caller still cannot hear you on the phone; then you must transfer the call the the carrier then you are able to have a conversation with the individual that called you in the 1st place

Hello Kim,

If the swipe is not working, that would be more of an issue with the app on your phone itself. I personally have an iPhone 6, running iOS 9.3.4, and have to swipe to get to the app, which does have the red decline or green accept buttons. That is expected behavior, and is working as designed.

If you have to transfer the call to the carrier at that point, due to being unable to hear, it could be an issue with your network connection (wifi or carrier data).

A nice thing that will be coming in iOS 10 though, will allow VOIP providers to be able to ring and be answered just like a normal call (no swiping to get to another app, and then answer/decline). This is something our Product team is looking into, but will have to wait until iOS 10 comes out this fall, at the earliest.
