Desktop App: Will it work on a virtual desktop?

Will the Desktop App work on virtual desktop (like Citrix)?

Unfortunately at this time, the Desktop Application will not work on a virtual machine (VM). Call quality issues. A solution to this is to use the Chrome extension for RingCentral that you can access from the Chrome Web Store. Once you get the extension and log back into your gmail or O365, you will have the softphone embedded in your email client.
