Add my 2 lines into my contact list

I been trying to add my 2 ringcentral lines into my contact list, each with a different title/name such as ( #1 TAX DELINQUENT AND #2 PREFORECLOSURES)  that way when someone calls my ringcentral numbers it will appear why are they calling for.
The problem is when I add them to  my contact list and i use my wife's phone to call my ringcentral number to test if the incoming call will appear as TAX DELINQUENT OR PREFORECLOSURE it appears as my wife's original number,
can someone walk me through the steps on how to set this correctly ?

Nelzon,

It sounds as though you have added these numbers into your Personal Contact list. You do not need to add these numbers into your Personal Contact list. You simply need to assign these numbers to extensions (i.e., Users). Name the extensions TAX DELINQUENT and PREFORECLOSURES. These will ultimately show up as "Contacts" in your Company Contact list.

There are two ways you can handle what you are trying to accomplish:
1. You can have their number show up so that you know who is calling but yet have the extension notify you as to which number they dialed.
2. You can have the number they called show so that you know that number (xxx) xxx-0001 is for "Tax Delinquent" and (xxx) xxx-0002 is for "PreForeclosures". In this scenario you can also have the extension notify you as to which number they called.

In the Call Handling & Forwarding for each extension, go to the Incoming Call Information menu selection. There you can select either Incoming Caller ID (Option 1 as I described above) or Called Number (Option 2 as I described above).

Further you can check the Include mailbox name in announcement check-box. This will notify/announce to the person answering the phone ( NOT THE PERSON CALLING YOU) that the call is coming into the TAX DELINQUENT line or the PREFORECLOSURES line.
