My guess, not knowing what plan you are on, is that you either went over your Toll-free minutes and/or made an international call.  You can verify it via your call log.

Check your billing tab and it should appear as "Calling Credits Package - Auto-purchase" $20.00.  It equates to 513 Plan minutes at 3.9.  International rates depend on the terminating country.
