Unknown Caller

I'm using the RingCentral app on my iPhone and this past week I've been receiving calls from an Unknown Caller. I answered and it's a patient calling our RingCentral number. I have our office number saved in my phonebook so I'm wondering why it's showing up as Unknown. My co worker has had this issue in the past but cannot recall how to fix this problem. I've deleted the app and reinstalled it and check notifications and what not. Any suggestions?

Yew,

Most likely you have your RingCentral account set up to show the incoming Caller ID number and not your office number. The patient calling in most likely has their number blocked, which is why you are receiving the "Unknown Caller" Caller ID.

Here's a Knowledge article which covers what I believe your situation is (as I described above):

In addition, and to assist you with "Unknown Callers" in the future, you can also think about blocking all callers where they do not display their Caller ID. There is an interceptor message which informs them that they need to unlock their Caller ID before they can call your number. This will further assist you in eliminating virtually all spam callers who do not display their Caller ID. This should not affect your current patients who will realize that they cannot call your office with their Caller ID blocked.

I think Jan is correct. Sounds like the caller has their number blocked from their end.
