On newly installed phones, there is no dial tone when receiver is lifted.

I'm in the middle of installing our phones. I installed two this morning, and happen to notice that on both phones, there is no dial tone when you lift the receiver.  I thought there must be something wrong, but both phones seem to work. I've tested inbound and outbound calling.

Phones I had previously installed before today all have a dial tone.

I know this is probably something simple and obvious, but it's five on a Friday.

What am I missing here/?

Are all other features of the phones working?  Did the phones come from RingCentral?  If so give us a call and have the serial numbers handy.

All of the features appear to work. I checked this morning and it'sthe same on the last four phones I've installed. I'll gather those serial#s and call later today.  All are RC branded Polycom phones.
