I would think the provisioning may be quite the same as the VVX 600's.  However, I see no real features or reasons to jump to this new phone, unless of course you need to purchase new phones.  I purchased the VVX 600 series phones since I was a new customer with R.C. and it took FOREVER before R.C. supported them!

Let me share something with you about Ring Central and provisioning.  They are the absolute SLOWEST in the Industry to come on board with new provisioning for the latest phones offered.  When the Polycom VVX 600 line of phones came out it took R.C. a little over two years to offer support for the 600's.  They were far to pre-occupied with selling there old, outdated VVX 500 phones to bother.  Companies like 8x8 and many others were up and running with these new VVX 600 phones within two months.  Not R.C.!  In fact.... two years after the VVX 600's were on the market we just got these phone provisioned and supported through Ring Central in March of 2016 and the VVX 600's were out in August of 2014.  How is that for keeping up with Industry standard support.

So, unless these new VVX 601's can make you coffee in the morning, give you a manicure or make you lunch..... I would not be in a hurry to think they would ever be supported any time soon within the Ring Central network.  Ring Central is too pre-occupied with Global Expansion to bother with keeping up with industry standard support.  I'll bet you $10 that 8x8 has these new VVX 601's fully supported and provisioned with the next 90 days.  Believe it!

I hope that RC recognizes soon that these new models are on the market NOW replacing the OLD. We also have a Polycom Real Presence Trio conference phone that is still not supported by RC. I should hope RC supports these new models very soon, otherwise we will be moving to another company like 8x8. Currently because all our Polycom phones are current models NONE of our Polycom hardware is supported by RC- that's not going to work for us very long! RC, seems all you need to do is add provisioning config files for these new models so they are properly configured, no?

That's fantastic, thanks for the quick reply. Specifically will you have an update for the VVX411 and VVX601? We have both those models and are having trouble with RC using them. Thanks!

What about VVX 401 ?  It has updated hardware as well.  How about adding assisted support config for it in http://pp.ringcentral.com/pp ?

Both models will both likely be added, but the date is still TBD.  It got pushed out a little but so I'm hoping within the next few weeks but can't make any promises.

Are you guys ready to go with provisioning the VVX601? Please keep us posted on the VVX411 as well as we are still waiting for both these phones to work with Ring Central.

I still don't have an exact date, but our team is working on support for these models. There's a good chance it will be in a few weeks.

Our Product Team is aware of the new models and several of them will be supported. We should have some more official  news in the next few weeks, if not sooner.
