How to forward users calls to more than one phone

We have a user that travels frequently. This user currently is using extension 305 on his desk phone and softphone. However, we have an extra unused phone that this user would like to take on the road with them for when they're in hotels. The unused phone is currently using extension 301. Would it be possible to set the additional phone to extension 305, so both desk phones as well as the softphone will all receive calls within the rules for extension 305. Or is there a different way to accomplish this?

Hot Desking would support this.  Read  https://www.ringcentral.ca/office/features/hot-desking/overview.html for more information.

Would I want to Forward to other user's phone, since the phone is already part of our system. And then will it ring at both phones?

A real life example, I have a user that has a phone on his desk in the main office and in the warehouse.  And he goes between these desks several times a day.  So, via this feature, the users just dial his primary ext number and both phones ring.  And if doesn't answer, the primary VM takes the call.  Make sense?

My arrow dropped.  Click on "Forward to other user's phone" and locate the phone in the drop down list.

FORWARD is kind of misleading.  Basically, if you add the extra phone (via this feature) you can then either have them ring sequentially or simultaneously.

So would I manually enter the direct dial number for the phone he brought with him? When I click that it just brings up 2 blank fields. So would I put the users name and then direct dial number for the phone he has?

I don't understand why hot desking is not the best option here.  Logs into phone, it is like his office phone.

It doesn't seem Hot Desking is available on our Polycom IP 335 HD IP phone
