I've tried PDF as well as docx from Chrome on Windows 7. No special characters in file name.

Have you tried to send it via the desktop application? or by email  ie.   fax#@rcfax.com

I'm trying to figure out if it's an issue with the file, or the actual Faxout feature on the website.

I ended up uploading it to google drive and then send it from mobile app.. I believe there's an issue with faxout feature of the website...

That's what it sounds like if the mobile app worked.   Can you tell us if this was just yourself, or one user? Has this happened before or a one time instance?

If this has occurred more than once we should probably get a support case opened.  If you'd like us to dig deeper, feel free to open a case using the button below, and include the user details/fax number that you were trying to fax from, time, date and an attachment of the document.

If you open a case, reply here with the case number.

I too am unable to attach files (DOCX or PDF) through the website.  No special characters in filenames (alphanumeric and underscore).  DOCX is  77,111 bytes (77KB)    PDF is  18,260 bytes (18KB).

Was able to through the desktop app, but this is not my typical working environment and would much prefer the web interface to be working correctly.

I would like to, but on my Mac when I try to Open A Case it takes me to a page where I get a momentary FLASH notice then am brought to the login page:   https://service.ringcentral.com/login.asp?p_next_page=RCSupportPortalCreateNewCase    Signing in doesn't seem to help.  I navigate back to Contact Support ( https://success.ringcentral.com/RCContactSupp?src=) select Open A Case, and I'm asked to login again.  Infinite loop.

Make sure you are logged out of both of the following web pages.

https://success.ringcentral.com/

https://service.ringcentral.com

Then clear your cache and cookies (close all browser windows) ,  relaunch a new browser, then try to submit a case.

How do I clear my cache and cookies in my web browser?

If you still get stuck in a loop, then please reply.
