Issue with version 7.5.4 crashing when minimized/maximized.

Hi Natalie, there is a known issue with versions >7.5.4 with certain computer configurations that causes the program to crash when minimized/maximized. This issue is still present in the most recent version of the softphone client. Is there a release that fixes that coming out before then?? Hey Mike,

The issue was resolved by installing 7.5.4 however now it appears I will no longer be able to use that version.

All my systems that have problems with the Softphone are running Intel integrated graphics. It seems the issue has something to do with Intel's Driver / Open GL and the way the Softphone uses OpenGL.

I'm still looking into the details. I found a note in your old case that 8.2 fixed the issue.  
I haven't heard this problem for a very long time.

7.5.4 was the version that was installed with RCSupport. We tried versions that were newer that didn't work but in the end we used 7.5.4.

I've done some more digging on this and don't see any other cases of this.  There have been several new releases since  you reported this. Can you try the latest version and let us know if you still have the issue?

8.4 is our most recent production version and 9.0 will begin pushing in a few weeks.

Hi Mike, 

I tried 8.4 on one of my problem laptops. Once the other user returns from a conference I will try on that one as well. The laptops are different one is a Dell Precision M2800 the other is a Lenovo X1 Carbon. The only aspect they seem to share is Intel Graphics however the processors are separate generations. Both are running Windows 7. 

I am willing to try any version or other solutions - I just need to hopefully find a resolution before 7.5.4 is no longer supported.

OK,  Let us know what happens.  If there's still an issue, lets go ahead and get another case opened. 
It might help to include all the computer specs in the case also.  An easy way is to type "msinfo32" from a CMD prompt, hit "enter"  and then just take a screenshot.
