How to handle mis-dialed calls

How do we fix about the issues wherein the caller/s is looking for  a certain company  that  is routed to RC main number of the customer? Example, caller  would like to speak to Sears  customer  care and   90% of the call happens all the time. number change is not an options that customer would like to have  and or willing to do it. Any suggestions?

Nicolo,

Are you saying that someone is dialing the wrong number, which is very similar to your customer's number?

If that's the case there really is nothing I am aware of that can be done, at least from RingCentral's side. On my personal landline phone I get a lot of calls for the local sheriff's office as their number ends with a 6 and my number ends with a 5.

The only thing that I believe your customer could do would be to block any particular user who continually seems not to remember to dial the correct number. Also, if your client uses an auto-attendant you could announce your company name in the greeting and the call would not be forwarded on until someone wanting to REALLY reach your customer's business presses the correct key (i.e., "1" for "Sales, "2" for "Support", etc.)

Yes.    dialing the same  number  and looking for Sears cust care. blocking the number from the caller is not possible since the customer have  clients   with the same area code.

They don't have to block the entire area code. Just the individual number of any particular number which seems to call your customer alot while trying to reach Sears. If they are all individual calls (not repeated calls from single numbers) ther's not much that you/they can do.
