Call queue with 2 phones - 1 rings, the other beeps every 10 seconds

We have a small office, just setting up RingCentral and trying to use it like a 2 line POTS where everyone hears it ring and anyone can pick up a call.  Everyone can monitor everyone else's presence.

I have a queue with 2 extensions in it, 101 and 102.  Both are Cisco SPA525G2.  They are set to ring simultaneously.  102 rings as expected but 101 just beeps every 10 seconds.  The phones were factory reset yesterday and provisioned today replacing 2 other phones.   101 appears to just be displaying the presence of 102.  I'm looking to have both ring at the same time in the same way for every call to the queue.

Any idea?

Operator, I never understand why someone would want to move to Ring Central and have it work exactly how your old phone system worked.  There are some core differences in the ways Call queues handle calls compared to having calls go directly to the phones.

Call queues are single threaded but calls directly to an extension or a phone are multi.  I am sure the reason the one phone is beeping is because you have the option selected

"Ring my phone when any user I am monitoring rings to monitor other phones"

This is an confusing option and I usually do not use it.

You will be better served if you explain how you want your call flow to work and then we could suggest a better configuration.  Call queues in my opinion are not the way to go
