I am unable to get faxes. The person sending them says that my number is busy but it's not being used.

I can't get an answer here and it's very frustrating and time-consuming. It's not user friendly by forcing people to go online to get questions answered when it's impossible to get answers to them. I don't know what you expect people to ask but it's not worked for me.

We'll need you to provide some specifics, so, I made this a private conversation.  First can you tell us what number they are sending the fax to? 

Are you having problems for any other sender that you know of? 

Please reply with the date, time and sending& receiving numbers so we can take a look a the specifics.

My client was trying to send a fax to my number, (888) 958-0705. I have had no problems with other people sending me faxes, but this client sends the majority of faxes I receive. 

She tried sending a fax to me yesterday, February 2nd.  I don't have the exact times she was trying to send a fax to me but she tried to send it three times, starting around 8:00 and ending at around 8:45, right before I opened this case. She was sending the fax from (310) 453-0288.

Hi Gail,

We are not seeing any inbound faxes to your fax number last Feb. 2. We sent several test faxes today and all were received successfully. The sending party's carrier may have issues reaching your fax number. We will continue to investigate on our end. We will contact you if we need more information

Of course you didn't see any inbound faxes to me from yesterday because they couldn't go through due to my client getting a message saying the line was busy. Yes, I got your test faxes. It would be unusual for the fax machine to have issues trying to reach me when I get faxes from this number regularly.  I always opt to remain signed into my account but somebody on your end must have done something because I now have to sign in and had to look for the password since it's not something I use very often. I don't know how or why this happened but don't appreciate it.
