Polycom BLF Presence out of sync

So we just moved completely over to Ringcentral and thought this was working when we did our testing.

Does Ringcentral show the extensions status correctly on the Polycom VVX series BLF buttons?

Currently ours show if the line is ringing or in call, but if the extension is marked busy or DND it still shows available on the Polycom.

A secondary issue is, does Ringcentral support setting the extensions status to DND when the phones DND button is pressed?

Currently the DND button on the phone simply rejects calls but does not mark the status properly?

These two issues are causing significant problems as no one can reliably and consistently keep their presence info up to date and this worked fine with our old system.

So are there any service issues with the presence system in general right now? Our HUD's in the windows app are not in sync either. People are showing in call when they are not etc.

So far not very happy with this situation seems like it should be well worked out so that one can accurately see a persons presence.

It would be nice to at least give clarification on what Ringcentral supports when it comes to presence and deskphones: It currently says in the FAQ:

"Whether using your desk phone, smartphone or desktop app, you can also share your presence status available, busy or on hold with your admins or colleagues."

However on our Polycom VVX's if a person is showing as busy in the app due to them setting themselves to busy/DND status it will NOT show them as busy on the deskphone.

If they set themselves to DND on the deskphone it will NOT show them as busy in the App. This makes the presence status basically useless for anyone using the deskphone.

Is this the intended behavior? Are there plans to change or fix this?

Sorry, but for now this is the way the system is designed. There's a feature request for this already.  I'll move this thread to that topic so it counts as another vote.
