So lots of talk and no action!  Can RC do a text RC meeting with me?

Deborah, Did you see/try the suggestion I mafe in my post yesterday? Also, more confused now. What are you expecting when you want a "text RC meeting"?

When I first tested RC meetings I sent myself an email to see what it would look like then I used the mobile RC meeting application and one on my desktop to actually create a meeting with myself. This is yet another way that you can test everything you want with regard to the functionality of the application all by yourself.

Disregard my question above. I think it was a typo where you meant to type "test" and it came out as "text".

I would like to try it out before I fumble with it with clients.  I'd like to try computer and phone.  Audio and Video.  And recording all.

I tried tech and my business rep and no one could get it working for me to participate in a RC meeting.  How can I use it if you can't get it to work???

my rep and tech support tried but couldn't get a test run working with me. They say they don't have the equipment!!!!  LOL

got to have certain requirements on your computer as well as making sure your computer allows downloads and isn't being stopped by a firewall or something.

How can I try it out if the company that sells it can't help me?

have an IT specialist come into your office and figure out what's missing from your current set up that's stopping you from using the meetings feature, and then give tech support at RingCentral a call back and let them show you the ropes.

LOL -- it's not on my side.  RC says they do not have the equipment to do a meeting with me.  I have spent hours on the phone with them.  They have failed.

would be odd that the company who provides the services doesn't have the equipment and settings needed to do a meeting with their own customer. I do all my demos and meetings with ringcentral through their app and have never had a problem.

I want to try it out before I use it with clients but RC cannot help me.  It's unbelievable really?

Hi Deborah,   I located your account and the support case.  I see the support agent emailed you and is waiting for a response. We have numerous agents with systems that can help you.  Can you reply to his email, or log into the case and let them know when you'll be available?

FYI...I found Deborah's email address and web page and I just sent her my contact information via those mediums (no response yet) and offered to assist her in my free time tomorrow morning if she is available.
