Is there a way to lock a meeting room so others cannot use it when it is not being used?

Is there a way to lock a meeting room so others cannot use it when it is not being used? From time to time during the day I receive emails that someone is in the room waiting. I would prefer to have the room locked until we use it. Thanks.

When the host schedules the meeting, be sure to not, to check the box shown.
