Sending a fax via email with an extension other than .com

We have been RingCentral customers for about a year and have had minimal, if any, issues with the service.  Beginning in February 2017, faxes sent through our email system failed to be delivered.  In fact, we didn't even get a failed delivery report; there simply was no record of the fax ever being sent.  We have been informed by RingCentral that this is due to a known issue; email systems with extensions other than .com are experiencing this issue.  According to RingCentral, the issue has been escalated to the top level.  But, it's been six weeks and we are still unable to properly use the service.  Each time we contact customer support we are told it's at the top level but we can't seem to make contact with a manager at that level.  Has any other company experienced this issue and, if so, has it been corrected?

I did a little research on this bug and it looks like the fix was to have been rolled out in our 9.0 upgrade.  We just recently finished pushing this out in the last couple of days.  Can you  go ahead and try sending another fax from one of your authorized email addresses again?

Then, please reply back here and let me know the result.

If it fails, please let me know what email address it was sent from, date, time and the fax number you sent it to.
