Using Intercom Paging with RC

I saw a few posts about paging in the forums but wasn't sure if there is a newer best practice out there now. Essentially, with our current system, we can page through loudspeakers setup around the company to let someone know that a call is holding for them. What's the best practice to accomplish this with RC? Thanks!
