glip calendar

We are having a problem with events created in Glip calendar not showing up on the integrated calendar in outlook.  what would be the issue here?  A setting we need to check, etc.?

Shelly,

I find that sometimes I have to manually "Send/Receive All Folders" while in the Outlook calendar for the appointments to show. I just did a test before answering here  where IO created the test appointment in Glip then I started Outlook 2016. It loaded all new emails but didn't load the appointment when I checked in Calendars. I clicked on "Send/Receive All Folders" while in the Outlook calendar and the test appointment showed up.

If you have the integration properly set up, this is the only other thing I can recommend you do. Outlook should automatically pick up on it but for some reason it doesn't always seem. to.

thanks for that information, Jan.  I did think about that too and did the send/receive within the email portion of outlook and it never showed.  I thought maybe the send/receive inside of the calendar portion of outlook might produce a different result, but it did not.  the event is still not showing up.  He does see one event that I created in the glip calendar, but not the event he created in the glip calendar.  I think I will try to delete the integration and try to reintegrate it and see what happens.

Another issue we are having that might go along these lines, but not really...It has to do with calendar app, but not within Glip.  My message got terminated when I asked this question before and referred me to this post, so I guess this is too close to the other question??  Below is my 2nd question.

We hare having a problem within the Ring Central app showing all of our calendars in outlook when we use join now.  I can see all of the calendars, but when I go to another employee computer to add the calendars to their join now, they are not available even though they are available in Outlook.

Thanks again,
Shelly

HI Shelley,  Sorry if I cause confusion on the other post.

Jan, Thanks for helping out.

For your first issue, yes please try to set it up again and if it still gives you a problem then give us a call so alive agent can go through it with you and escalate if necessary.

For your second issue regarding JoinMe.  The set up is pretty straight forward so we may have to look into that also. If you can't get it to work, open a case and include provide all the details user info, what version of RC Desktop and/or the Mobile app, Outlook version, OS versions etc.
