There was a known issue causing crashes for users running 32-bit Microsoft Office versions. Support has a workaround if you open a case with them. They also promised a new software version - but I have yet to receive it.

I am on Windows 10 64-bit. Some Windows and Office update came through this AM and got them installed. So far, it has seen to do the trick and do not get any error.

Issue has resurfaced again today. When I try to sign in, again RC for windows crashed and returned this same error message. "Ringcentral for windows stopped working"

I looked for Windows or Office update and no luck.
