Outdated Font on Notes of Fax

I wanted to change the font of the notes on a fax we send out. The font looks really old and outdated and does not look professional for our business. I called technical support and they said that it cannot be changed, is that correct?

I'm not aware of any way to change the font on the cover pages generated by our service so this would be a feature request. I've changed this article type to "Idea" so we can track it from an enhancement prioritization perspective.

Until then, you can use our API add your own cover pages with any font you choose. Here is some demo code on how to implement your own cover pages using our API:

Thank you but after reading the instructions, it talks about handle bars and being that I am not a software engineer and familiar with coding is there another demo or help that you can offer. By making a custom cover page would that allow us to use this custom cover page when we are sending our faxes through our email accounts?

Hey David,

So I did some testing, and I do not know if this test case will work for your needs, but I was able to send a fax from my RingCentral soft phone which is custom branded (custom logo and custom fonts, see the screenshot) using the following resources and steps:

[OPTIONAL]: I didn't have an external fax number, so I signed up for the $9.99/mo account at HelloFax.com

  1. I created a PDF document in Adobe Illustrator with custom branding using custom fonts and custom logo graphic.
If you would like to use this, it is available in my Google Drive publicly here: https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B4c5_69L3RieYnBNdDY2UGRabTA)

  2. Open the RingCentral SoftPhone

  3. Click on "Compose Fax" button

  4. Set "Cover Page" === "None"

  5. Attach the custom branded PDF

  6. Click "Send Now", to send to your external fax recipient (HelloFax.com phone number in my case)

  7. Wait for fax to be received (took about 2-3 minutes for me)

  8. View the fax and make sure the branding sticks

If you want your question get better attention, create a new thread and ask your own question there. Don't ride on an old thread which is not really your problem.

Great suggestion so far. But I found something like cocofax which I want to share with you here. I also found some other fax services already. But when I visited them I see cocofax is offering 1 month of a free trial. So I am bit interested in it to send fax online visit the site. I hope it will work for me. What do you think?
