This reply was created from a merged topic originally titled Admin: Filter By Department. The new iPhone app ver 7.2.1 has the new Filter option for Contacts. When you will include the Department (field from the User Profile) to use as an option in the filters?
At this moment, after 6 months using RingCentral, I can't find any option, report, filter or utility that takes advantage of the Department field... (We are 3 companies working under one RC account).

Now, using the template for Ideas:
1. A brief description of the business: School Bus Sales, Automotive Parts, Granite and Memorial Sales

2. A high level description of the product or feature being requested: Using the field "Department" for better analysis and search

3. A typical use case scenario explaining how your business would use the feature: Searching Contacts, we have 3 companies, so filtering by Department. Other scenario, reports by Department/Company.

4. Benefit of such feature: Faster searches filtered by Department. Better Reports.

This is implemented in the new 7.5 Release... it will be rolled out to our customer base over the next several weeks. 

Click on the title and it will sort by that field. 

1 year later we are still unable to sort by extension number.

The extension number title is "clickable" but the user list STILL does not sort by extension! Was this implemented at all?

everything sorts except for the extension number, seems odd.

This feature was enabled quite a while ago, but currently there is a bug in the system that isn't allowing the sorting ability. We are working very hard to fix it.
