Call Queue: Increase Call Queue hold time.

Looking for a way for callers to choose the stay in the queue instead of being sent to voice mail.  Does anyone know if this is possible?

You can just set a longer time in the queue.

We have a similar concern as Dave does. For us, it would be helpful if the caller has the option to remain on hold in the queue or choose to leave a message. Some of our callers would like to stay on hold for as long as it takes, while others don't mind leaving a message for a return call. If we extend the time in the queue, it irritates some of our callers, not to mention the continuous ringing of the phone if a member is away from their station. If they go to voice mail too soon, it seems as if they are just being ignored.

I just changed this to an "idea" topic.  For now the only option is to increase the hold time, but I do think it would be nice if the caller had a choice to hold for an indefinite amount of time if they choose to.  Please click the "vote" button above if you would like to see this feature added.

Can call queue max hold time be increased to 1 hour? Please...really need this.
