FEATURE REQUEST | Fax transmission result notifications should optionally include a copy of the document(s) sent. When you send hundreds of faxes a day to the same or similar numbers, picking the failures out of the haystack and linking them with what you were trying to send can be impossible.

3. Option to receive an attachment of what was sent (or not sent) when receiving a transmission result notification via email.

5. This is a deal breaker for us. We send letters to financial institutions many times per day all to the same number. When a fax fails, we do not know what fax ended up failing because the numbers and time sent are all too similar. We need to see the document it's self.

We are hoping to switch over from eFax for this reason and others and are interested in your response.

For fax transmissions, please create an "include attachment with email" option for the "office premium plan" for RingCentral Canada, so that transmission confirmation emails include a copy sent fax/transmission.

This should be added to all plans. Without it we have no proof of what was actually sent.

We're still waiting for fax confirmation emails to include the documents sent. I expect they'll get around to this sometime in the next decade...maybe. Added my vote as it's an obviously needed feature but not holding my breath.

This reply was created from a merged topic originally titled Fax Transmission Result email should attach copy of the faxed documents. Our business is a law firm with a litigation practice. It is critically important that we are able to prove WHEN and TO WHOM a message is sent via fax. This is so important in fact that cases can be won - or lost - on the ability to prove that the other side was served with certain documents in a timely manner.  

Currently, there is no easy way for attorneys and staff at the firm to save outgoing fax transmissions, as each documents needs to be saved manually by the sender if/when a fax is successfully transmitted (which, of course, is delayed).  Because a fax sender becomes busy or distracted by other tasks, a "fax confirmed" copy may never be saved to the client's file, resulting in uncertainty in whether a document was properly served.  

An option to attach the faxed documents (with cover/confirmation page) to the Fax Transmission Result email automatically generated by RingCentral would be an enormous benefit to our business because the task of saving transmitted faxes can be delegated to support staff who will ensure that these gaps in our procedure are filled.  

In the absence of this feature, our Firm will need to seriously consider other VOIP options that have a solution to this issue.

I agree with the above comment and since it has not been done yet, it appears that ring central does not care.  Ease of doing business is KEY in all businesses and ring central is not making it easy to do business.  Hopefully they will change this soon
