Every one of my clients repeatedly gets confused by glips "Message" icon. When they want to send or receive an SMS on their phone they ALWAYS go to the wrong place. Even after being told 'Ignore everything and just click the "Phone" icon at the bottom', they still continuously go to the wrong place.
If the designers had actually considered this app correctly when *re*-designing it. They would have moved the "Contact Us" icon to the menu. They would have made the secondary menu Icons so it can actually fit on the screen. Or given us an option switch to toggle between text and picture icons. They would have allowed us to set the default mode "Glip Messages" or "Phone". I know when I have to use this new app (and I do try to avoid it) having it go to the "Messages" location by default every time annoys me to no end. I will NEVER USE THAT FEATURE. Or the "Video" feature for that matter. So they are just taking up valuable screen space that should be there for using my phone as a PHONE APP.
This is costing me a lot of money as I am having to spend WAY too much time on the phone trying to talk people through navigating this app. The interface on the prior phone app was 10 times better. Please re-hire the guy that made that and have him redo the Glip app.
