Are you a RingCentral Customer? If yes, we can enable the meeting for your sandbox account so that you can call Meetings APIs to schedule and manage meetings before you graduate the app to your production. You cannot run meetings in sandbox environment though.

If you are a customer, please send your request to devsupport@ringcentral.com with your production account information and request for enabling meetings for your associated sandbox account.

By default sandbox account is not enabled with meetings feature.

Since you mentioned you are not a customer and using free account, you need enable Meeting feature in free account by requesting RingCentral.

Thanks for your active participation! But please read previous response before giving further info. In this case sending a request to dev support won't help as the meetings APIs won't do much useful things in the sandbox. That is why it was disabled by default.
