Where did the option of sending a fax directly from scanner go?

Running windows 8 with the new RingCentral interface. The option of attaching a document directly from the scanner seems to be missing completely. Is this a Windows 8 problem?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

the new "update" (i think anything after 6.5) removes the ability to "print-to-fax". You have to scan the pages, save the pdf file, then open up the app, attach the file, and then fax it. I know it sucks, but after contacting RC several times, the only answer i got was "working on it" but i think they might have removed that option for good =/ even tho that might have been the best feature for faxing..
