When receiving faxes, it always turns out as "Receive Error" or "Partial Receive"

Hey! Just a question, is it possible that the reason why I keep getting errors and partial receives is because some people may be faxing me using an analog fax machine?

Thank you!

No, you should be able to receive faxes from analogs or digital machines... There is other problem.

Could there be a setting that I need to do, or could it also be from the sender's side? Because around 40% of the faxes that I get are errors.

Hi Hoopdy,

Perhaps it will help a lot if you could provide more information about the issue. What device do you use to check / receive your faxes? What specific errors are you encountering?

If you are still having problems, this page may help:  Resolving Partially Received Faxes

If you continue to have problems, then try to collect as much data as you can, the senders phone/fax number, is it an efax or internet fax, time date, etc and open a support case.
