SMS API special characters issue - Message not delivered

Hi,


We are facing an issue where the text (SMS) messages sent with Portuguese special characters such as "é","á","ê" via API are not delivered.


If we remove the special characters it works like a charm, however, it is very bad to send with them.


Any suggestion?

What programming language do you use? I have no problem to send those special characters from e.g. Node JS.
