Due to Covid 19, our phone receptionists are rotating working from home and the office. They use all three methods to answer incoming calls - (1) Polycom desk phone (when in the office), 2) RingCentral desktop app (they like the pop-up caller ID and answer using wireless headset and 3) RingCentral Mobile App.
When they work from home, they only use the RingCentral Apps and leave their Polycom desk phone at the office. So on days when they are at the office they prefer to have their Polycom desk phone ring first because of the way they have to page the building, (we use a CyberData paging adapter and it only works from the desk phone). The problem is, when an incoming call comes in, it always rings their mobile app first, which is the default and apparently there is no way to change this setting. We realize that they can simply disable their mobile app when in the office, so the desk phone and desktop app are the only devices that ring, but we are requesting the ability to allow the desk phone to be the first to ring instead of the mobile app.
