RingCentral for Desktop App: Advanced Audio Settings

The Old RingCentral Software included an Advanced Audio Settings Options as follows:

These setting options need to be added within the New Windows Desktop App as they may often be needed for Clear, Reliable Audio Quality.   This is VITAL for Businesses using the Desktop App exclusively.

The new Desktop App does have some similar settings. We understand that sound quality is an issue for some people, but it is a lot more complicated than just changing a few settings in the softphone. Most QoS issues are network related and sometimes require customized settings on your router (among other things).   We actually have a dedicated QoS (Quality of Service) team that works on sound quality issues for our customers.  If you've gone through all of the QoS, Bandwidth Tests, and normal troubleshooting steps, the best thing to do is use this link to  Open a Case  and include your details in the case notes. Then if necessary our tech support will escalate directly to the QoS team.

Thanks!
