Fax HTML with Images. Any examples? Images stripped when faxed.

I'm submitted HTML to Fax with img.  img is stripped.  Any ideas?  Content-type?

Is the image on you local hard disk? If so, upload it to somewhere that the RingCentral server can access. You can delete the image after fax is sent.

It is in AWS S3.  
Upload to RingCentral Server?  This could be dozens, perhaps a hundred + images per hour.  

How would I upload it?

AWS S3 is fine. Are the images public or private? Could you post a sample here if it's public?

Can you be more specific about how you are including the image in the HTML?

Faxing an HTML file with an 'img' tag 'src' attribute containing a URL should work. What kind of filetype are you referencing and is the URL accessible to an outside service? Can you provide an example URL?

Here's an example HTML file that worked for me:

If anyone can give me an example of an faxable, inline base64 image I would be very grateful.

RingCentral fax HTML support currently only supports image links. Inline images via Data URIs in the image tag or via the CSS background-url property are not supported yet. We're discussing supporting this.

To workaround this issue now, you can use external links or convert the HTML to a PDF before sending it to our API.

It's better to use url link of the images in the HTML tag instead of any base64 image code as the API currently doesn't have the feature to convert it back to image.

Maybe in future they introduce this dealing with base64 format.

Also the url link should be public and accessible to ringcentral to get the image from the location
