Sending an Outgoing Fax, we need to add an extension number at the end

We're trying to send a fax via email, but the number has an extension at the end!  Example:  (315) 497-1110 Ext. 2099
We would like to send a fax to the extension.  In other Fax services, you would simply type a star before the extension.
i.e.  13154971110*2099@rcfax.com
RingCentral does not allow this to happen, it doesn't even attempt to send the fax.  Other services allow this feature, and even those dusty old fax machines can do this quite easily!  Can we please add this feature to RingCentral??

Thanks!

Isn't it ironic that Ring Central issues a fax number with an extension yet cannot fax to a fax number with an extension?

Not really because if you know anything about VoIP and hosted PBX systems, they all require an "extension" in conjunction with a number to work. The extension is not necessarily like you might think of extensions in the past, however it is needed to assign the fax number to in order to operate correctly.

seems pretty simple to replace the asterisk with a period, then have the dialing server treat the period as a pause. eg 13154971110*2099 would become  13154971110.2099@rcfax.com
