Desktop App: Scalability lacking (fonts too small)

Please include scalability of the fonts in your windows desktop application. The fonts are too small on a high resolution monitor . My laptop is a Toshiba Kira 2560 x 1440.

I completely agree. Windows desktop app is unusable on high res ultrabooks

Lynn.. Isnt it sad this company is making us post a request to fix a defect in their product? 100s of high resolution devices are coming out all the time now and RingCentral seems to think FIXING their BROKEN app requires us to make a feature request.. Its pathetic

Kevin, the more likes this gets, the greater the possibility of it being added to a future release of the RC Windows App. It's the way their system works - perhaps not the best way, but it is what it is.

I agree, it isn't necessarily the best way to handle it but, unfortunately, that's the way they do it. I'm definitely looking forward to this feature, so I'm willing to play along.

How many lines do you have with them? I am currently upgrading the computers at my office for all of the employees.. This app is useless on their computers. I pay a good amount of money per month for a phone service and half of the tools they are providing arent working.. Im not sure being so compliant with their terrible business practice the best way to respond to them. We are looking for new hosted phone solutions at this point

At the moment, we have three offices with RingCentral - more on the way. I'd say we are around 80 people so far. Two of the offices make more use of the physical phones, one uses the app for nearly everyone. So far the scalability, and the inability to manipulate the microphone with more granularity are our main issues. We do use it for our Service Desk as well - it's much better than our former telecom provider was. The desktop app features become more of an issue for those who work at client sites, or those who occasionally work from home. One thing I do like about RC is the way their system handles packets over varying levels of Internet quality.

I am glad that I am not the only one to have this problem. I am also ready to look for a new app. Any ideas on good cloud phone services?
