iOS option to toggle during outbound

I have a customer who raised a question about iOS phones.  Customer said that his friends who are android users when they do outbound calls (using phone dialer) can choose whether to use mobile app or phone to call out.  He wanted to know if iOS devices has that capability as well.  Using an iphone 6, we checked the settings and it doesnt have the option.  Is this something that can be requested as a feature request?

Rye, There's no setting in RingCentral for what you are referring to. What you are talking about is a functionality in the Android operating system which is not a functionality of the iOS operating system. As a result this is nothing that can be programmed by RingCentral developers.

I thought so too.  It is OS function not an app function.
But thanks for confirming.  Atleast my doubts has been cleared.

Glad to help. I am aware of this because until this past February I was an android user. As of February now I have an iPhone 7 Plus and have not seen that functionality.
