Google Chrome Extension: disappeared from Gmail

Is anyone else experiencing a chrome extension "outage"? The extension started disappearing from everyone's gmail screens about 30 minutes ago. Go ahead! Hit the refresh! 

Opened up a support ticket, has been escalated because no amount of level 1 troubleshooting fixed it for me. Don't wish this on anyone, but I also hope I'm not the only one...

You're not the only one. So far, it's failing on both PC's running Win 7 64 Pro I've checked. It doesn't seem to have anything to do with Chrome's new version 53.0.02785.89, as both these PC's were running 52.0.2743.116 when it disappeared. They had a similar issue 3 months ago where the extension was disabling Google Calendar functions.

Failing for me in Win 10 x64, Win 7 x64, And Chrome OS 52 Stable. Environment doesn't make a difference today.

Looks like we may have an issue. Jesus, thanks for submitting a ticket.  

William, can you please do the same thing?  Then reply back here with the case number please.

Hello, 
Please upgrade manually to your RingCentral for Google to 2.6.5.3 if Google has not pushed it automatically. 

How to check the version - Type chrome://extensions/ in your browser address bar and look for "RingCentral for Google",  If the version is showing lower than 2.6.5.3 , then click on the trash icon and allow to delete

Go to  https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/ringcentral-for-google/fddhonoimfhgiopglkiokmofecgdiedb and add it back
