Glip/RC App doesn't show texts?

I was trying to find a text comversation i knew i had with a customer of mine and i couldnt find the text string in the RC mobile app but it along with previous old texts are on the web version of RC / Glip. Did i change a setting and not know it? Or do texts only show up in the RC Phone app?

Hi Chris, 

Texts should show up under the 'Direct Messages' section in Glip with a little message bubble next to the message.

The ringcentral mobile app shows 0 text messages. I had a text yesterday and it's not there. The RC Phone app shows them as does the glip/ringcentral website.

I reached out to a Glip SME asking what may be causing this, and they advised to ensure you're on the latest version of the app, and to check the call tab instead and see if you have a text option there. 

Can you confirm if your email on both apps is the same? If you're still having issues or the emails do not match, please make a case and we can take a further look :)

No updates are showing in my app store. Would lead me to believe I'm as up to date as possible. My email is the same. Then I checked the call section as you suggested and found the most recent text I had done. Guess I'll just have to get used to looking for a TEXT in the CALL section of the app. (shrug)

I'm on the current release of the RingCentral iOS app and text messages only show up if you tap 'Call' and then either locate texts under the All section or tap on the Texts section.  These should also show up in the Messages menu.  Even the current Glip desktop app shows texts in the messages list along with Glip chats.

Totally agree with Bob, and also want to report that texts/mesages to extensions sent from RC Phone do not show up in any of the Ringcentral apps (desktop or mobile).
