Not receiving text messages inbound on desktop - outbound messages are sending

All of a sudden one day I stopped receiving inbound text messages on the desktop version

Release: 10.0.0.30453. I can send them, but I stopped receiving them. This has always worked fine previously since we first started using RC. Rebooting my computer and logging out and back in to the program doesn't help. This is very difficult as we use this feature constantly.

I started having the same issue after changing the calls from simultaneous ringing to one person then the other.

Hey Jackeline, we haven't heard an update from anyone who was experiencing this issue. Please do open a case so Support can look into it and then get back to us with updates :)

Same issue with me. Not receiving texts on Message+, but I'm able to send. The sent messages are NOT syncing with Verizon.com nor my phone. It was working great until a few days ago. New iOS upgrade in my iPhone 6 gave me a few few issues with texts on the phone a few weeks ago, but seemed to correct itself with another update. Message+ for my desktop did not seem affected while all this was happening. I noticed today that Message+ was also not receiving on my laptop either, so seems to be equally effecting both my Windows 7 PCs

I've tried tech support several times about Message+ app. Tech support is unable to help. They just tell me to upgrade to newest version which requires Windows 8.1 or Windows 10. Windows 7 is still being officially supported until April 2020.

From a developers viewpoint, just because Windows 7 is officially supported by Microsoft doesn't mean that every other developer that writes software for the Microsoft platform has to officially support the OS for their software. In fact sometimes it is not even possible  as one type of technology needs to move forward (VoIP and UCaaS in this instance), the older operating system (OS) might not be capable of handling it.

I am not a RingCentral employee but I have been a developer. I have had to abandon a version of an operating system long before Microsoft officially stopped supporting it several times in the past to keep up with what was needed in my software.
